Keynote — The Reconstruction of the Cascade Garden

Kristin Frederickson is a Principal at Reed Hilderbrand. She earned a Master of Landscape Architecture, with distinction, from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and holds an undergraduate degree in English and Studio Art from Williams College. Since joining Reed Hilderbrand in 2006, Kristin has participated in the design and implementation of many well-known projects, such as the Boston Harbor Islands Pavilion and the renovation of the Dallas Museum of Arts’ Richard Fleischner courtyard. In addition to her work at Longwood Gardens, Kristin is lead designer for the City of Boston’s Franklin Park Action Plan, and she recently completed the rehabilitation and expansion of Marsh Court, the remarkable chalk stone English country seat designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll. While at Harvard, Kristin received the Charles Eliot Traveling Fellowship and the Janet Darling Webel Memorial Prize.
